Prayers by St. Francis De Sales

O love eternal,
my soul needs and chooses you eternally!
Ah, come Holy Spirit,
and inflame our hearts with your love!
To love - or to die!
To die - and to love!
To die to all other love
in order to live in Jesus' love,
so that we may not die eternally.
But that we may live in your eternal love,
O Saviour of our souls,
we eternally sing,
"Live, Jesus!
Jesus, I love!
Live, Jesus, whom I love!
Jesus, I love,
Jesus who lives and reigns
forever and ever.

Amen.

 Be at Peace

Do not look forward in fear to the changes of life;

rather look to them with full hope as they arise.

God, whose very own you are,

will deliver you from out of them.

He has kept you hitherto,

and He will lead you safely through all things;

and when you cannot stand it,

God will bury you in his arms.

Do not fear what may happen tomorrow;

the same everlasting Father who cares for you today

will take care of you then and everyday.

He will either shield you from suffering,

or will give you unfailing strength to bear it.

Be at peace,

and put aside all anxious thoughts and imagination.

More memories from St. Lucia

A few pictures from the square next to the Cathedral

The Bell tower at the Cathedral

Two weeks before we left St. Lucia our friend from Ti-Rocher' invited us up to her house for supper

We picked 5-finger, St. Lucian Cherries, and Golden Apples, which are not like our apples at all.

A beautiful storm came in while we were there

Here we are with Sheila, her daughter and her grandchildren

The next weekend we had a party with our friends on the "Family and Life" Committee
We had a great time, food, fun, and games!

Here is Anne with Miss Mary. She loved seeing the kids and they loved seeing her!

Esther has a special gift for the elderly.
